I added in the two files which were omitted from the first description
and got more valuable results as far as testing for CSS.
The fake IE5.5 failed to display the OPTGROUP tag, which is good.
I also have a page with a position: "fixed" based on an IE6 bug:
http://web.tampabay.rr.com/bmerkey/examples/body-disconnect.html
The fake IE5.5 scrolled the whole page as it should have.
The previous attempt, where "IE5.5" implemented dialogHelper as if
it were IE6 could be because it may be using the current vbscript.dll,
also left out of the hack.
>From these tests, the hack presents some practical CSS testing
possibilities. I find the fake IE5.5 crashes a bit too often for
comfort.
