I replied to the list last time but it must have missed you so im replying
to your inbox directly as well as the list this time (it says somewhere not
to do this as its a breach of privacy or something but im sure it will be ok
this once ;D)
http://scott.sauyet.name/CSS/Demo/FooterDemo1.html
ive already built my site and im trying to implement this layout which is
proving problematic, i would suggest starting with this css and xhtml
document and build around it. if you need to float things check out
positioniseverything (either .com or .org i cant remember) as last friday
(24/10/03)
they discovered a fix for the IE bug, however it could be a bit of a pain
getting it to work with this footer layout, maybe a challenge for you. I
have also seen a page which has a frameless frame layout which works cross
browser. in otherwords you have a static menu, footer and header and there
is a scrollbar for the main content, i was rather impressed, but i cant
remember where i saw it. if you look through the archives of css-discuss.org
im sure youll find it (im proxied from them for some reason, the techies
don't know either.... bloody surf control)
hope this info is usefull
