Ideas needed for better styling for a data table

Sent by Brian Ghidinelli on 22 October 2003 05:05

I've got a highly stylized table my designer worked up for displaying
rate information for houseboat rentals:

I'm trying to figure out better ways to style the rate table,
specifically the bordering between each houseboat instead of using the
repetitive border-tops. It needs to work in "modern" browsers including
IE so using something like :first-child or nth-child is probably out of
the question.

It looks as it's supposed to right now, it just doesn't "feel"
optimized. Advice appreciated, thanks!

Brian
