    It depends.  When we redesigned DevEdge back in January, we were 
told in no uncertain terms that a "printer-friendly" link was 
required.  So we came up with one; you can check it out on 
http://devedge.netscape.com/ (for however much longer that URL 
remains alive, of course).  I for one thought the whole thing was 
silly, but our "clients" (upper management) gave us a clear design 
requirement, and we went with it.
    So in an effort to keep this on-topic (that is, practical), I'll 
point people toward some information about print styling.

If there are folks on the list who can share the URLs of lists that 
make good use of print styling, or good print-style resources not 
mentioned above, those would be nice to see as well.
