It depends. When we redesigned DevEdge back in January, we were
told in no uncertain terms that a "printer-friendly" link was
required. So we came up with one; you can check it out on
http://devedge.netscape.com/ (for however much longer that URL
remains alive, of course). I for one thought the whole thing was
silly, but our "clients" (upper management) gave us a clear design
requirement, and we went with it.
So in an effort to keep this on-topic (that is, practical), I'll
point people toward some information about print styling.
