Yes, especially if the traditional method (i.e., creating a new

Depends, but most of the time, I've found clients expect that when they
print out the Web page, it should appear like what they see on screen.
So, if you rely on CSS for layout onscreen, it's a good idea to use it
for print.
I also prefer using print styles because it allows for the creation of a
more paper-friendly presentation (i.e., exposing links, using "pt",
etc.)

Wired News does, and also uses the print-styled version in a method
similar to how Olly suggested.
The only catch is that print-friendly style sheets (if written properly)
can be tricky to debug onscreen as Mozilla and IE seem to handle things
like the page margins differently.
