Hi All-
I am attempting my first non-table based design for a
redesign of a site and have come upon a bit of a snag.
My design is looking almost perfect in Mozilla, and
not too bad in Opera 6, but I can't get the effect I
am looking for to work in IE. I am not sure if it is
just IE being buggy and I need a workaround I can't
figure out or what. (I haven't even looked at it on a
Mac yet.)
Design: http://citracado.kandkpro.net/ (Only page so
far, all links broken.)
CSS: http://citracado.kandkpro.net/c/default.css
1st problem:
I'm looking for my background color and border to be
applied behind the logo in the upper left, but I am
just getting a block element of whitespace in IE. Any
suggestions?
2nd problem:
I am trying the image/text replacement trick for <h1>
to happen above my navigation. Comes up fine in
Mozilla (firebird) and Opera, and IE 6, but not in IE
5. I've used this before and all the tutorials I'm
practicing with work fine in IE 5. Much appreciated!
