I can't add any other browser checks, but I can say that you need
to get rid of the xml prolog on the first line because that isn't
needed for a standard non-xml page, and it puts IE6 into 'quirks'
mode. You're using 'strict' so I KNOWS you don't want that! ;-)

The prime problem is that while IE6 may emulate IE5.x/win's box model
when in quirks mode, it does NOT forget how to handle the escape in
the tantek hack. Thus IE6 gets the wrong width value, or in your case
the wrong height value for the header.
BTW, Holly and I are starting to work up a commercial design site,
and your PlainSimple site is most inspiring to us. It's just the
kind of site we were thinking of, and your attitude will pretty
