[css-d] Site check please

As a CSS amateur, I'd very much appreciate your
comments/suggestions on this previously discussed
issue with regard to the following:

http://anacreon.dkc.mse.jhu.edu/~cyork/newdkc
This site was made from a DW template, has tables and
works in NS 4.x except for

-How to fix the green text in the bottom navigation
-How to fix the text logo so that when thepage is
resized it will move left as well.

...and
This is the same site with CSS layout.

In NS 4.x, these pages are accessible but everything
flows left.

What's the best solution to sniff out and redirect
those users with older browsers to the tables based
page.
