Re: css-d Digest, Vol 10, Issue 15

Can someone help me with borders and boxes, please? I'm trying to get a
solid border around h1 elements with a reversed color thing going on.

You've seen this done in magazines, on shampoo bottles, everywhere but on
my website. What I have done (
http://www.markhiatt.com/Classes/reverse.html ) looks great in IE6 on my
Windows XP box. When I look at it in Netscape, Mozilla or Opera, or any of
the Macintosh browsers, there are spaces between the h1's and their
borders aren't solid. I have three h1 classes defined, with different
colors of text and backgrounds and their display set as inline.

How can I get dark text on a light background on the left, light text on a
dark background on the right and a solid dark border around both so that
it looks as it does in IE6 on... everything, please?
