Are there different versions of IE6?!

Sent by Sandy McMurray on 9 September 2003 23:11

In the latter stages of building a simple site for a client, we kept
butting heads over what she saw on her screen vs. what I saw on mine. I
was designing on a Mac, but I have a PC for testing purposes -- we were
both running Windows XP with IE6 SP1, screen resolution 800 x 600.

She swears the site still has an unwanted band of color at the bottom
of each page. I can't see it. Since the site went live, she's now heard
from others who see the "correct" version, so she knows there's
something wrong at her end.

Two questions for you folks:

1. Does anyone else see a band of green at the bottom of the pages on
her site (URL below)?

2. Is there a hidden setting, toolbar, bug or other problem with IE6
that might explain this strange problem?

Her site is:

Thank you!
Sandy
