valid CSS/HTML has strange glitch

re: http://www.techstuff.ca/sites/audrey/v4.6/

I'm having a peculiar problem that seems to be isolated to IE6 -- some
pages on this new site occasionally display one element -- an
absolutely positioned box -- in the wrong place, overlapping the main
navigation menu. When this occurs, extra green is also visible at the
bottom of the page (i.e. Extra space is displayed n the "container" DIV
under the "nav" and "main" DIVs.)

These glitches *vanish* when you hit the Refresh button. (Maybe I have
older versions of the offending pages in my cache?)

The problem is specific to IE. I have not seen this glitch while
previewing in other PC or Mac browsers. It checks out fine in Netscape,
Mozilla, Camino and Safari. I haven't tried with Opera.

Please view in IE6 and let me know if you see the same glitch.

The CSS validates and the pages validate as HTML 4.01 Transitional:
