Parenthesis

I went with a definition list (these are sort of definitions from what
I could tell?) and used an unordered list for the term with multiple
definitions.

Background images don't stretch (yet), so I inserted a real image
of a left brace and used CSS to size it to however tall the UL is.
Only thing is, there's no good place for the image in the markup so I
inserted it via the DOM.  If javascript is successful, the list
bullets are removed and replaced by the single brace.

I think getting IE6 on board would be just a matter of some
absolute positioning bug squashing (maybe an extra container around
the image).
