Quite, which is why CSS in HTML email is at a less stable stage than
even (say) CSS in NN4. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, and that's
about as scientific as you can get. We wanted to try it against Windows
Outlook clients only - it was simply easier to code for in an automated
email application. Drop in a style section, then just wrap the actual
database-drawn contents in <p></p>. I'm not a mission to promote CSS in
HTML email here; quite the opposite. I much prefer plain text email
myself for all the usual reasons, but - like it or not - many
non-technical people (like employers!) prefer HTML email "because it
looks nicer", so giving CSS a try with it seemed like a worthwhile goal
at the time.

Regds,

Bob Osola
