I don't know if thats really true. But my first guess is, that a css
selector a {} also affects visited links (in fact, all instances of
<a>). The link="COLOR"-attribute of the body-tag in HTML4 only affects
non-visited links, so that the browser uses its default behaviour with
visited ones.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
