I discovered this recently, however I had 2 separate blockquotes, both with
italics. Only the first one on the page caused the problem, the second had
no affect.
I solved mine by using inline style (well it was only for this page)
<p style="margin-left:5%;margin-right:5%;"> as opposed to blockquote
elfin
