Thanks to those who sent corrections: I think I have squished all bugs in the Opera panel Opera Panel http://www.tntluoma.com/colors John Woram's page at http://www.woram.com/tests/misc-04.htm inspired me to make a 'triple test' page that would test a browser's ability to render the correct color using EITHER the name (ie "blue") or Hex or RGB. There are two versions of the page available Uses inline CSS (background-color: xxxxxx) http://www.tntluoma.com/opera/colortest/ Uses BGCOLOR http://www.tntluoma.com/opera/colortest/old/ Believe it or not the BGCOLOR page is actually a little smaller because 'bgcolor=' is shorter than 'style="background-color:"' !!!
