Just as a follow-up--
I was having problems with the CSS rollovers on http://www.hellonheels.net
in Mozilla & NS6 (WinXP) - they flashed in an unsightly manner. I
precached the images with a variety of means (-z index, negative absolute
positioning, and javascript) to no avail... they flashed oddly with or
without that. The CSS precaching was also messing up the page in terms of
accessibility / semantics, but whatever. I'm going to live with them
unless any of you wise CSS-D people (Hi, Big John!) can see what's awry.
Please do let me know if you see anything else funky, though. I've checked
it in XP (IE6, Moz, Opera7) and OSX (IE6, Moz, Chimera, Safari) and Lynx
(woohoo!) but don't have access to anything older at the moment.
