I've heard that suggested before and would be suprised if that's the case as
it still flashes each and every time I roll over the link - not just on the
first mouseover. I'll try precaching the images and will report back.

Another issue: the a#foo background image does not display at all in Safari.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue yet?
