Truthfully... I worked very hard on just such a problem on a site that's
fully CSS-P except for data tables... A true pain and I never came up with a
solution that worked cross browser...

I, with the help of some on this list, came to the conclusion that if I have
images with their inline descriptions properly built in a table that lets a
disabled user access and understand the whole thing--well, that's just OKAY!

In other words... If I was using the table to put the several different rows
and configurations of images and just used the table for formatting that
would not really be in compliance with accessibility standards... What I did
was to put all the images on the left column of the table (properly labeled
at the top) along with all the inline descriptions in the right column next
to the picture (also properly labeled)... What I emerged with is a table of
properly formatted tabular data...

That said, you'll never believe what happened (and I have yet to fix it)...
The only section on my site that has "issues" is this section with the
images... I've been told that in IE 5.5 PC (which I don't have access to),
the table is starting down below the navigation area... GO FIGURE!

If you have that browser and would like to see it (or even tell me what the
heck happened... ;) it's here:

Evidently it happens in any of the galleries (there are four)...
