Good evening Matthias, It was foretold that on 13-1-2003 @ 23:50:38 GMT-0800 (PST) (which was 8:50:38 where I live) Matthias Gutfeldt would mumble: <snipped a bit> MG> You should keep in mind that IE6 has an ugly bug: If there's anything MG> before the <!Doctype declaration, it will switch into quirks mode. MG> This means for XHTML documents that an XML declaration, Well, luckily for me (but maybe this is horror to most people on the list here :-) i do nut use XML yet. It's hard enough to get the Css working let alone that i'll also go for XML at the moment :-). As for the Doctype declaration, that's always the first thing at the top of my pages so i guess i have that covered. MG> In Mozilla there are also differences, but different from the ones in MG> IE6 (yeah, it sucks). Mozilla isn't rely one of my target browsers: i tend to stick with Opera, IE and netscape 6 or higher (i 'tend' to forget there's still 4.x out there) MG> My own table I will sure check that out. Big John also thinks highly off it so that's a reason more for me to check it out. I'm grateful for the help Matthias!
