'Habeas's commitment to standards-compliance, while working across all browsers' is excellent and
will be surely matched with a corresponding 'better user feedback'. The 'separation between content
and presentation' is 'firmly' aknowledged.

Exactly. MSPaint is just as good in creating a coloured box with text in it, comes with MSWindows
and can 'radically reduce' the file size from 4k (../images/nav-about.gif) to 780b if used properly.

Looks ok in IE5/Mac, Gecko  and 'links' browsers. 
I don't have any 'obscure browsers' installed.
