RE: [css-d] Looking forward to this newsgroup

Nice looking site, David. Full of CSS and XHTML goodiness! Opera6/PC doesn't like the main orange
buttons in the left sidebar unfortunately. They don't appear to use the "display:block" style,
which is odd, because it looks correct in your CSS. Hm, it DOES use it on visited links... but then
those visited links don't have hover states! weird!

Maybe the "display:block; width:xx; height:xx" should go under a new section: "#menu div.navitem a {
}"

Still, the rest of the pages look great.

Subject: [css-d] Looking forward to this newsgroup

Hi All,

I've just joined up, courtesy of the link at zeldman.com posted today.

I am working on my own personal site at http://www.davidmcdonald.org

It is built using CSS2 and XHTML. I would appreciate a site check on
different browser versions if anyone has the time. I am interested to
know if I am using the box-model hack correctly for one.

Of course, the box model hack doesnt validate though - is there any
work around for this?

Regards,
