[css-d] Re: Popup Menu and CSS

Sent by Gwen Harrison on 30 December 2002 20:08

Many, many thanks to those of you who have responded to my questions. The
problem is, I'm getting tons of emails from Mozilla users telling me how
crappy the site looks in Mozilla. I appreciate your taking time to point
this out to me, but I'd already been made aware of that in a rather painful
way.

I just completed this site in late November, and I've **never** used this
much CSS on a site before. I was told on November 8th that I had
authorization to do this project, and the client wanted it completed by
Thanksgiving weekend. In addition to freelance web projects, I work
part-time and go to school full-time. I knew Mozilla has poor CSS support,
but I hadn't had time to check the site in Mozilla. I first became aware of
how crappy it looks in Mozilla when one of the people interviewing me for a
dream job took me down to her office just to show me how crappy the site
looked in Mozilla. Only now that Christmas is over, the relatives are gone,
and I've got some time off from work and school can I begin to address the
Mozilla and popup menu issues.

That's what happens when you try to do too much!

Thanks again,
Gwen Harrison
