In reality you are going very hard for anyone to convince any company or
corporation to spend the money to upgrade from NN4x. If your argument is
the browsers poor css implementation you are wasting your time. To the
corporate executive you're talking a foreign language, they will never
understand a reason based on web site design. Why should they when their
web site works? What browser would you recommend when they ask what
package is as good as Communicator? There isnít a browser package like
communicator aimed at companies and corporations in todayís browser market.
If you want these companies to upgrade the solution is simple. Donít
design for NN4 and donít accept jobs where it is required. If you do
accept these jobs, then quit moaning and groaning about how bad NN4 is
when you are just as responsible as the users of NN4. They donít want to
spend the money to upgrade and we are too greedy to quit designing for
it. Vicious little circle, isnít it.
