I have never had good results using the PP save to HTML. It creates a
frame based site that put a separate graphic for each and every image on
every page regardless if it is the same one from page to page (aka slide
background or logo). I had a 76 mg PP presentation my client wanted to
put on their site. Using the PP save to HTML it was almost 90mg. As a
PDF it was 18mg. We ended up making it into several logical segments in
the 1-5 mg range for those with bandwidth restrictions.
Either posting it directly as a PP file on an intranet or converting to
PDF have been my methods of choice. With the newer versions of PDFs and
Acrobat Accessibility tools I figure that is a pretty good compromise.
