[css-d] css equivalent of hr tag

Sent by Michael Ryznar on 23 November 2002 01:01

Hello,

What is the css equivalent of a horizontal rule?

Do I just create a 1 pixel high div and color it?

Or should I use the hr tag and mark it up with css? If I do this, which css
properties should I use?

I have two small buttons on my web page which are centered on the page and I
would like to put a 1 pixel horizontal rule across the entire page just
above the buttons.

Thank you kindly for any tips!

Mike
