[css-d] li {display: inline} question... [Sophos_T]

Sent by Webmaster on 21 November 2002 17:05

Is there any way I can create more space between items in an inline list
for IE 5.0 browsers? If you will look at this page:

http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/about/about.htm

in IE 6.0, Mozilla 1.1, Opera 6.05, etc., there is a nice 10px space
between each item (I padded them 10px to the right), but IE 5.0 completely
ignores any attempts to space these list items out using padding *or*
margins.

Is there a workaround? Or maybe I shouldn't be using a list at all?
Perhaps a bunch links with non breaking spaces?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
