[css-d] Display:block problem with Opera 5

Sent by Y-23 on 9 February 2002 13:01

Hey Everyone,

I've been watching from the shadows since this list exploded onto the scene, but now I must ask a
question.

www.webinitiative.net is a new site-in-progress for me. I thought everything was going well until I
viewed it in Opera 5. I'm using display:block on the anchor tags to create nav buttons and simulate
a button push effect. Looks and behaves fine in IE5+ and Mozilla 0.9.3, but in Opera 5 the width and
height declarations are being ignored by the browser. Can anyone tell me what's missing from my
style sheet to help Opera along? My style sheet can be found here:
http://www.webinitiative.net/advanced_style_2.1.02.css. Any help with this will be greatly
appreciated.

TIA

Y-23
