Hi. I've finally decided to take the plunge and modified a version of
the bluerobot two columns left menu layout
(http://bluerobot.com/web/layouts/layout1.html).

Looks fine in Mac IE and iCab, passable in OmniWeb, but sucks in
Netscape 4.7. The main problem is that the content area doesn't pick
up the background colour property set in the content div. So you get
text straight on a patterned background, which is not good.
Any advice? It doesn't matter too much if little things don't work,
but the text needs to be legible. And i don't want to go back to
tables...
