Making #content and div.fltimg position:relative solves the problem.
Why? Probably because pos:relative makes z-index become active, with a
default of 1. Whatever is covering the text is subordinate to
z-index:1... no idea what it is.

Subject: [css-d] IE 6.0 not displaying text properly
I have something weird going on with text being hidden in IE6, but works
fine in Mozilla and Netscape 6.0. If you go to the following page you
could
check it out: http://www.jetskiing.net/dev/newlayout/. Now when
visiting it
in IE 6.0 you'll see that the breadcrumb, header (<h1>) and any text up
to
the div's for the images is not displayed until you highlight over when
of
the links in the left menu. Anyone have any ideas what's going on or
how I
would fix this?
Thanks,
josh
