Quoting [EMAIL-REMOVED]
-----------------
>I've just had it called to my attention (maybe I should have known) that when the user disables
JavaScript in Netscape 4.x,
styles are disabled as well. I wouldn't have guessed that, but sure enough, it works that way. Nut
not in Netscape 6.0.
Would anyone care to explain why that happens?
Netscape wanted to have its own CSS and this "Netscape CSS" was based on JavaScript, that's why.
>It's not clear why JavaScript should be required to interpret style sheets (as much as Netscape 4.x
interprets them at all).
I'd really be interested in any clarification anyone could offer.
