Re: [css-d] !important ?

Brian,

I first came across the !Important reference in an article I read written by
Eric Meyer. I would give you the reference, but my I lost a lot of links in
a recent disk crash. Someone here must have it.

In the article, Eric describes using the ! rule to overide css from the
author for the purpose of learning how the page was put together. he put
borders of different colors and patterns around tables, and tds, etc. I
recommend reading it.

Could someone please explain the "!important" reference I keep seeing in
CSS? I thought I knew CSS fairly well, but I've never heard of this. Is
this a CSS3 spec?

Thanks
