Before you get too carried away with making family trees, it might be a good idea to study the subject a little deeper. Mainly because there is almost no limit to how big a "tree" might be. And there is already a Mac program (and maybe a Windows one) that keeps all the info (and there can be an enormous amount, when one includes all the sources and proofs) and will dump it all (or any portion of it) into HTML pages for you. No use of CSS that I can see, but that could easily be added. The program mainly uses tables. You can see an example at: <http://www.leisterpro.com/doc/Articles/FitzgeraldWebCards/WC_TOC.htm> Personally, I have enough of a problem trying to understand CSS! ;-) But I can see that there may be other uses for this kind of design and you guys will surely come up with a solution.
