Hi,
I'm new to the list and have mainly been a silent reader and learner. Now I
have a problem and need some help urgently. I am new to this, so would
appreciate your patience and any assistance and advice-even apart from the
question I have.

I am having trouble getting the bottom navigation links to perform
correctly. The first item ("Home") is obviously not picking up the style
from the style sheet correctly (read: I have got something wrong with my
stylesheet). The "Home" link is the correct font, so it picks up the
pseudo-class selector okay, but does not inherit the hover and active
characteristics as seen in all the other links in the bar. Any help would be
appreciated.
(I know that there is a lot of redundancy in this style sheet. I'm using DW4
and it does funny things so I've stuck with it in the meantime while we
build the site.)
