That is a heck of a banner, and I agree it must stay. Looks
like it is just a few pixels too wide for 640x480 res screens.
I hadn't realized that a rigid header image could pull the
cols apart. (must work on that) If it could be reduced or
remade 20% smaller that would help, but only to a point.
The cols themselves should be no sweat, and I recommend
leaving the top navbar in a table, for now at least. You can
experiment on that later.
If you *need* this page to retain the same look even in
ancient browsers (like IE3, say), perhaps it would be best to
keep the table structure. There's no image slicing going
on, so it's not TOO yucky. You might try replacing nested
tables (if any) with CSS, tho. This is just my own thinking;
opinions vary alot in this area.
Even so, the page does need work. There is a
small horizontal scrollbar at 800x600.
