Although others have responded to your message, rightly clarifying that
only one version of Netscape 6.x or 7.x can be run at a time, there is
another issue that could affect your perception that you are unable to run
any version but 7.0. By default, the Netscape installer enables the Quick
Launch feature for Netscape 7.0. That means that so long as Quick Launch is
enabled for Netscape 7.0, no other version of Netscape 6.x or 7.x will
launch. Regardless of which version you try to run, Netscape 7.0 will take
its place.
To disable Quick Launch, go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced. The
checkbox for Quick Launch is at the bottom of the Advanced page.
