[css-d] Big 'ol Browser Test

Sent by Brandon Oto on 29 August 2002 03:03

Heya, folks! Time for the last go-round.

If you could oblige, point your browsers at this address:

http://www.berkeleyhigh.org/

I believe I've sorted my kludges, solved my glitches, and knocked down my
bugs in a regular purty fashion, but the age-old demon of browser testing is
whispering in my ear.

I have tested in IE 5.1 Mac, Moz 1.0 Mac, NS 6 Mac, all good. Opera 5 Mac is
fine too, albeit with some bugs (does Opera not like negative margins, or
what?). Netscape 4 Mac is sort of okay. IE 4 Mac is ugly, but more or less
works.

Everything else - and I mean EVERYTHING - could really use a once-over. PC
stuff especially - I mean, for all I know, the entire site could crash in IE
6. Hell, even esoterica like Linux, PDAs, Webtv... okay, I'm going a little
far, but in all honesty, whatever you've got is welcome.

If you're really feeling enterprising, you could even try printing a page to
make sure the print sheet works ;) But I won't impose that on you.

Poke around the site, take a look, and if you see any glaring errors, please
let me know. Suggestions and general comments are, of course, welcome as
well.

HTML and CSS validate, Bobby mutters but gives most pages a AA.

Greatest thanks,

- Brandon Oto
