Screen Resolution Independend CSS

Hi,

I design a webpage with CSS in 1280*768 resolution using Absolute positioning. But when I change my
screen resolution to 1024*768 then a horizontal scroll bar is come. Can you provide me some tips
that how can I disable this horizontal scroll bar ?
