[css-d] CSS layout needs browser testing / accessibility feedback

Sent by Simon Willison on 1 August 2002 11:11

Hi all,

Here's the site: http://development.incutio.com/lums/

It's a remake of http://www.lums.lancs.ac.uk/pages/Executive/ using XHTML
and CSS. I've concentrated on making the markup as logical and accessible
as possible, so I'm very keen on receiving feedback in that regard as well.
Incidentally, the HTML page size is down from 27KB to just 7KB, while
keeping the look and feel pretty similar :)

I've tested it in Opera 6, IS6 and Mozilla in resolutions dowjn to 800x600
(at 800x600 the breadcrumbs vanish - I'm not overly concerned about this as
they aren't an essential part of the navigation but I would welcome any
suggestions as to how I can fix this). I'm particularly interested in
knowing if the layout works in older versions of IE on Windows, and of
course the ever important IE5/Mac.

Thanks,

Simon Willison
