Hello everyone - just returned to higher education after a two-year stint in the private sector. My
new job includes organizational Website responsibilities for one of the largest alumni groups
(450,00+) in the U.S. The Web includes the main site, 8 campus sub-sites, and many small (100+)
club, constituent and affiliate group, and governance body sites.
Before I arrived, the Web team had reviewed several open-source CMS for possible implementation.
They are recommending we proceed with a small pilot project using eZ Publish <http://ez.no>. I've
had experience with several CMS implementations and feel confident about the issues of matching
business case with the appropriate solution thus avoiding the common pitfalls during implementation
and adoption but I don't have any experience with eZ Publish.
Before we proceed any further, I want to get feedback from some users who have had first-hand
experience with its implementation - preferably in a large organizational setting. I am regular
lurker on this list and in the past, I have found this group's advice invaluable. Thanks in advance
for any help you can give me.
