The redevelopment we did for The Pier - http://www.pier.co.uk - last
August is valid XHTML1.0 Trans.
This was phase 1 of an ongoing redevelopment which dealt with the
underlying markup and usablilty of the site, hence it currently has a very
functional look.
Now that that's been successfully bedded in (with a 300% increase in
turnover woo!) after the soft launch, we're moving on to phase 2, where
we will be implementing a much more 'branded' skin ready for a PR heavy
hard launch at the end of summer.
There are also a couple of 'nearly-there's, which although they are of
limited use as examples, may help to get the conversational juices flowing.
* My employers site - http://www.gencon.co.uk - which will be XHTML1.0
Trans, once we've worked out a way to stop PHP adding unescaped
character entities to links.
* Omniperception - http://www.omniperception.com - which was XHTML Strict
when we released it to the client, but it seems to have broken since and
won't validate with the UTF-8 character set, only iso-8859-1. I'll chase
them and see if I can find out what is up.
